The unit is nice and the air conditioning upgrades were a wonderful addition during a hot summer. The facilities are appropriate for the price range compared with surrounding rentals. Corey was very helpful and responsive.
I stayed at Corey's place during a nearby work retreat, and it met my needs well. Really appreciated that it's pet-friendly, as I travel often with my little dog. The grounds are beautiful. The apartment was as expected. Perfect for my stay. The building itself is aging, and some of the units have been updated moreso than others. I've stayed at a few places on this property this year. Corey's place was in the middle. My one notable challenge was that the A/C took a VERY long time to cool off the place, even with moderate temps in the low 80s outside. Luckily, we had a cold front, so I stayed cool enough to enjoy the majority of my stay. There were thoughtful amenities and the host was friendly and responsive.
I just spent four days at this cozy retreat. The interior of the place was very much as described in the photos. The view from the back porch is very beautiful, and I even got to see a deer grazing in the sandy beach and drinking from the lake. The location is very close to the quaint downtown area and local attractions. I had a very enjoyable stay, and very much appreciated the free ticket to Biltmore, which saved me a lot of money. The only reason I am rating this four stars is because the mattress in the bedroom is clearly past its prime. I was traveling alone, so it wasn’t too much of an issue, but it is concave in the middle.
