My husband and I spent 1 month at this airbnb. Overall for what I paid it was a good deal. The location is nice and central . It is surrounded by trees which are pretty...but also makes it dark inside all day. Kitchen is well stocked in terms of pots/ pans, etc. A dining table that seats 4 instead of just 2 would be a nice addition. Beds are very firm and not the most comfortable. The shower floor is very creaky and sounds like you are going to fall through. Internet speed was decent for working remotely. Overall I would recommend.
We had a wonderful month-long stay at this place. It was very serene and we loved the back deck. The little touches were very nice, and the host was very responsive. The street is very quiet and super close to everything West Asheville has to offer. We would absolutely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mardell Retreat. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking equipment we could have wanted. We loved the patio for outdoor dining. The owner is particularly lucky to have a concierge, Emily, who was always available to recommend great places to eat, and quick to answer questions about WiFi.
